Being the first of its kind in the Bay of Plenty - you are probably wondering, what exactly IS The Purple Lab? Simply put, it is a cosy digital creative space featuring individual stations equipped with tools for Beatmaking, Audio Recording, Garment & Sign Making, Graphic Design and more! The Purple Lab also houses an audio recording booth and a projection screen to help you keep up with instructions easily.
We have recently converted our space from group workshops, to now a more suitable space for individual/one-to-one workshops. Aside from our own facilitation, occasionally the space is hired for mentoring creative one-to-one sessions utilising resources such as the recording booth or beatmaking software, to connect with mentees (the mentors having gone through a workshop themselves with TPL previously).
